Tenure Track Position: Music Technology

Applicants are invited for the position of Lecturer below the bar in Music Technology at DMARC (Digital Media and Arts Research Centre), Department of Computer Science & Information Systems (CSIS), University of Limerick, Ireland.

The post holder will be expected to make a substantial contribution to the research culture and output of the Department and Faculty in the areas of Music Technology and the Digital Arts. The post holder will be part of the team responsible for the delivery of undergraduate and postgraduate programmes currently offered by the Department of Computer Science and Information Systems (CSIS) in the area of Music Technology. The post holder will be involved in the supervision of student research ranging from undergraduate to PhD levels. In addition, the post holder will be expected to participate in programme design, administration and outreach activities.
Relevant fields of research expertise include acoustics/psychoacoustics, spatial audio, recording/production, multimedia/film sound, sound art, sound design and digital signal processing. Candidates who incorporate other aspects of creative industries and digital arts practice into their research are also welcome.
